I'm sceptical about your claims on the ethnicity of the French rioters - last week's political riots are not the same as the ghetto riots a couple of months ago.
This time, the demo was mostly ethnically French students 1968-style (not least the grandson of the former foreign minister, arrested for chucking paving stones at the CRS -http://bellaciao.org/fr/article.php3?id_article=26066 )
