You'll Tak' The A Class And I'll Tak' The B Class

"A school has changed the names of its primary one classes after complaints that they left some children feeling inferior, BBC Scotland has learned.
Bonnyrigg Primary School had called its classes 1a and 1b but some parents of children in 1b said it left the youngsters feeling second best."

Is this the spirit that skinned Hugh Cressingham ?

Better not have blue and green classes, you can imagine all the problems that'd cause in Scotland.

A former workmate's son ended up in Feltham Young Offenders Institution. The place is split up into wings, each of which is named after a bird.

He was in Heron Wing. Just as well they didn't have a Chicken Wing.

In the early 1970s, I was employed as a temporary clerk by HMSO. Under the then closed-shop arrangements, I was required to join the relevant trades union, SOGAT. This fine organization was formed from the merger of the earlier NUPBPW and NATSOPA print unions. Such was the spirit of co-operation and brotherly love that the two partners, which had made little or no progress towards merging their structures in the five years since the formal merger, were known respectively as SOGAT Division A and SOGAT Division 1.

Not a marriage made in heaven, I thought. They split in 1972.

that is most unfair putting different children in an 'a' class and a 'b' class. if you ask me the only pupil allowed in an 'a' class should be your super son (yes rory) and he should be allowed to hand pick the rest of the class although they would all have to call him your majesty.

p.s. giv im a computr. it ent fair on da lad

Mind you, when I was in Primary One, we were called A and B and they meant it: we were streamed.
