Sarah, Sarah

It's all so clear, I could never forget,
Sarah, Sarah,
Lovin' you is the one thing I'll never regret.

No matter what the election result, you can have Ms Palin on your wall until 2010.

The 13-month calendar–the first of its kind–includes dozens of original portraits and candid shots of the Alaska governor on the job and with her family.
Hmm. I'm not sure how that sits with family values, but it should do wonders for sales.

I'm not sure "on the job" means the same thing over there as it does over here, missus.

Think I'll buy a few of these to give to my lefty Guardian-reading friends as Christmas presents.

Should be good for a laugh.

That reminds me, I've still got that squirrel in the freezer waiting to be eaten. I've got to grasp the nettle some time. I find it difficult to eat something I've looked in the eye before dispatching.

Personality politics at it's worst. What a bunch of shits the Repulicans. No wonder they can't win against a unrepentant Red Diaper Baby demagogue.

More importantly they find hard to beat a black unrepentant Red Diaper Baby demagogue.

Keep in mind always that non-whites always vote more than 50% Democrat. Even on a conservative swing that figure doesnt cross the 50% threshold.

Winning an election in the US is about getting the white swing vote. As immigrants and their descendants multiply the %age of whites need to vote Republican goes up. In effect the non-white vote is a write off for the GOP. By 2012 they will probably need 60% of white votes to retake the Prez. If Obama does play the amnesty card...then God knows the %age will be even higher.

Could be by 2016 no Republican will be Prez again, just maybe a black one but never a white one.
