UPDATE - well blow me down - it's (allegedly) the Poles again. Is the number of reported crimes with (allegedly) Polish perpetrators a function of the large numbers or of something else ? Alas the stats are not there. It looks like not every Polish cleaner's up there with the lovely Anna.

The bit that strikes me as odd is: "Mrs Zaudy, who was a British citizen..." why state this? Something's been left out, as usual.
I dont know about "going to be", it already is right there.
Four people with Polish surnames have been arrested in connection with this old lady's death.
I bet you one of them, probably one of the women, 'befriended' her and then...
The Polish influx gives the elite opinion formers something of a dilemma in media terms. They want to roll out the red carpet but OTOH Poles are White and Christian. So if there are going to bad things said about immigrants, better it be said about them rather than our browner and so much more vibrant incomers.
The only person Ive ever heard voice real animosity to Poles in this country was an Albanian builder. Politeness dictated that I didnt blurt out "Well I'll take them over you any day mate."
