"go and work in Europe, Mandelson tells strikers"

... thus far have the People's Party come.

It's the 'speaking from Davos' bit that gets me !

Thay don't really have much of a clue how to tackle this, do they...?

Not that that makes it different from any other crisis, mind you...

Max Hasting's column in 'CiF' this morning is well worth reading:

This crisis is potentially catastrophic for the Internationalist establishmnent. The mask has slipped a tiny bit and revealed a part of what these people truly are to the general public..

And they can also escape the snow and finally buy that horse farm of their dreams in the south of France, or the villa in Andalusia: their place in the Sun...

Our political elite seem not to realise that they are sounding like the twenty first century equivalents of Marie Antoinette. (Substitute Davos for Versailles, and Mandelson's latest exhortation for 'Let them eat cake').

I think we should take him at his word, in fact we should extend the principle to government. Fire all the MPs, Lords, the Cabinet, and sub-contract the whole job to the Germans. They might even make the bloody trains run on time.

Fire all the MPs, Lords, the Cabinet, and sub-contract the whole job to the Germans.

That has crossed my mind on many occasions. But Labour is the party of the state, and the state is the constituency of Labour. You're unlikely to hear turkeys singing Christmas carols.

The MSM has simply stopped doing journalism. I still do not know the real background to this increasingly important story.

How did Total go about recruiting these contractors? Where the jobs advertised in the Local Press? (How difficult would it be to find that out?)

Are there other large refinerys in Europe that employ a mainly foreign workforce in preference to a fully trained local one?

Brown has just stood up in Parliament and said Total has reassured that there was no discrimination against British workers.

Surely someone will check this out, soon?

Isn't Mandy paraphrasing Tebbit's 'on your bike' which seemed to have upset the Labour Party a bit at the time?
Here are two absolutely genuine quotations about Lord Peter from Leo Abse's amazing analysis of the great Phony Tony, 'Tony Blair, the Man Who Lost His Smile' (Robson Books, 2003):
i) "Too often it is plausibly suggested that inevitably the homosexual in politics tends to be singularly destructive - as has been notably the case with Peter Mandelson ..." (p. 65)
ii) "Peter Mandelson is the sort of man who gives homosexuality a bad name." (p.270)
Remember the guy who surprised Mr Dimbleby on a recent BBC phone-in by saying that he knew a bit about our glorious Parliament, where Mandy's real nickname was not 'The Prince of Darkness' but...wait for it - 'The PRINCESS...'?

"The UKWelder Forum is now closed.
An official announcement will be added to the site as soon as possible"

Falun Gong?

How soon before there are floatels of Chinese workers moored off the coast?

Anyone noticed that the "police" are now tasked to batter indigenous people and demonstrators against Tibet, and to run away from the enriching hordes ( "run, run you cowards, you poofs, you swine.... Allahu Akbar). They didn't run away though, apparently they merely "retreated backwards" according to some Met lackey spokesthing - much as the French Army retreated backwards in 1940 presumably

I suppose Davos is a bit like the public face of the Bilderberg conferences: the rich and powerful schmooze each other but we get to hear some of the chatter.
So at the next Bilderberg I expect they'll be discussing plans to deport, forcibly, unhappy Englishmen...
two recent spells in hospital were bad, but I was distracted from the contemplation of the dirt on the ward floor by my anger at the fact that so few of the nurses were English, and fewer could spesk or read our language: however, they weren't from Europe but from MUCH further afield ...

AND, what's wrong with PROTECTIONISM, or is it a boo-word concept like RACISM and FASCISM or even DESIGN THEORY and all the other ideas that mustn't be examined, thoughts that mustn't be thought, words that mustn't be uttered?
The people in power use POLITICAL PROTECTIONISM to look after themselves ... so let's have some too, here.

They sense the Wicker Man is coming.

The Wicker Man is the growing fury of the people of Britain, it is that spirit of revolution which rests for centuries in the blood of our people before once again erupting into being with all the power and might of an exploding volcano.
It is the long pent up primal anger being released of a people who have had their rights, liberties, identity, communities and and cultures taken from them and in return have become strangers in their own lands.

This is one of the beauties of free speech.

Creatures like Mandelson happily give their opinions. Their little lapdogs in the MSM and even the stasi-esq anonymous commenters parroting the party line on blogs.

You are all building the case against yourselves boys. When the charges of treason are finally brought you will have no defence, the evidence files will be a foot thick!
