Whose Side Is Matt Drudge On ?

Alongside his Prince Harry story, Drudge had proudly highlighted the verdict from the veteran Left-winger Jon Snow of Channel 4 News: "I never thought I'd find myself saying thank God for Drudge."

It's rarely I'm tempted to emulate Mr. E or the Devil, but that cretin Drudge ... the SAS ought to take him on a 'fact-finding mission' to Helmand - and leave him there.

Its not just out in Afgahnistan, where Harrys life has become ever more dangerous.

When he returns to the U.K., he is now likely to be the number one target, of every Islamist crackpot on our shores today.....

That's presumably because Mr Drudge has ended Jon Snow's reign as the biggest twat in journalism.

Well, that presupposes that he wasn't before...

It is not often I disagree with you Laban. However I find it a bit unsettling that the whole of the MSM agreed to blackout this story about Harry Windsor. What else has been blacked out in the past?

Things that involve not putting peoples' lives in danger, halfwit. Your "right" to know counts less than someone's right to live.

But, as I keep asking, here and everywhere, will Jon Snow resign? His almost incoherent rage last night was as genuine as it was hilarious, and how I would love to have been a fly on the wall at the subsequent meeting between him and his senior editor at 'Channel 4' who was, presumably, a party to this 'attack' on the People's Right to Know! It will be interesting to see whether this man of principle puts his pension where his mouth is!

Man of principle? I thought we were talking about Jon Snow..?!?

And, if he was so keen on freedom of the press and the public's right to know, how come he never broke the story about Charles Kennedy's drinking, or the Blair daughter's suicide attempt?

Wrong kind of information, perhaps..?

Utterly OT Laban, but you might be interested in this video, and related. Some very interesting insights.

Let's not forget Andrew Marr's "love child" with the Times Columnist Alice Miles (allegedly).

I hadn't forgotten that. It's simply that, comparatively, they are simply a couple of nobodies... ;)

if the MSM can collude with each other over Harry, then it's not beyond reason to assume that they are also colluding with the rocking horse/nappy story.

Its not really in the public's interest to know Harry is in Afghanistan. The media has concealed more serious secrets (ie ones about politicians like Charles Kennedy, Peter Mandelson, and Tony Blair).

Still, as Jon Snow believes the media has a right to provide reconnaisance for the Taliban, then the next time he reports from a warzone, he should have no protection from UK troops.
