You know that this kind of thing must, must happen in the sort of school environment where being a 'boff' will get you beaten, terrorised, targeted - the sort of school that middle class Guardianista Sarah Donachy teaches at (check the comments thread - especially this one).
But when you read the story of Angel, it still breaks your heart.

I thought it was pretty brave of Miss (or is it Ms..?) Donachy to write a Guardian article showing everyone (with a few exceptions, naturally - it is the Guardian, after all) exactly what the problem in schools is. Teachers like her.
I wonder if she expected a different reception...?
Well she hasn't come back to reply - then most Guardian "bloggers" don't.
Many thanks for alerting me the "To Miss With Love" blog. I've spent the last hour reading her posts. A mid-thirty-something single "ethnic" female who likes chivalrous gents, despairs at our racially-hypersensitive society and aimless low-aspirational culture. Do I have a long-lost identical twin, I wonder?!
Sorry should have written "Many thanks for alerting me to the...blah blah." I'm doing a spot of hazardous drinking, hence the typo (there's no way Brown's getting his mucky hands on my liver).
I think I'm in love with Foxy Brown.
You should read the whole blog from start to finish foxy - i did!
