Labour "to get tough on crime, immigration"
They must think we're really stupid. They also think we're producing the "best-educated generation in our history".

John Reid is claiming Labour have cut crime by a third since 1997.
read PC Copperfield's book for some of the ingenious methods these charlatns. shysters, hucksters and fraudsters use. i love the idea of them cracking down on crime - half of them are going to be inside this time next year. please, please God, make it happen.
As for Sam Tarren's comment - you're having a laugh if you think Hug a Hoodie is anything more than a labour gimmick spun by a different party.
We need, immediately:
More prisons, more police dedicated to catching criminals and harder judges. If we take the 100,000 worst offenders out of circulation tomorrow, we'll cut crime by 80%.
We need, in the longer term:
Better schools and incentives for families to stay together.
Hugging hoodies comes a long way down a long list of potential responses.

'Get' tough, yes this time they really mean it. Wankers.
Undoubtedly, this will lead to yet more headline-grabbing chirades like dragging yobs to cash machines and suchlike.
At least 'Hug a Hoodie' has some ounce of context.
