You'll just give yourself a headache trying to unravel that one, Laban....
Im sure some Guardian readers have spare rooms where they can put up some Dale Farmers.
Some Guardian writers have spare houses where they could put up many of theDale Farmers - but you know they won't.

Writers as well-

Polly Toynbee also reputedly has a holiday home in Tuscany,so if any of the travellers fancy sunnier weather than Essex this winter, they know where to go.
I figure it's that Labour (and the rest of 'em) views itself as 'The People Farmer' in Britain.
The Travellers are 'pets' that currently serve a purpose whereas the Oldies are simply spent breeders who now only eat and no longer produce.
Feel free to come up with a more innocent explanation of this kind of head-space...
To the latter - it's not.
@ Hexe,
Echoes of Huxley's Brave New World. Perhaps state-sanctioned, (non) voluntary euthanasia of the aged, administered with sodium thiopental, to curb overpopulation is now inevitable.
"The state has no place in the bedroom."
That used to be a mantra of the Left. Now they want to steal your bedroom. Times change!
Nice, a strong contender for Consensus-is-Favoured comment of the year.
Since there's always at least one EU palace unoccupied as the commissars shuttle between the two, why not throw open the unused one to the tarmacky heather brigade ?

The oldies are predominantly White British, and mostly - horror of horrors, English
Sgt. Troy:
The color of the rabbit does not matter if it's not profitable and occupying a cage that could be used productively otherwise.
Btw, the English are not the only people who are being disbanded, the French, Spaniards, Italians, Swiss, Belgians and everyone else in Europe are all in the same position.
Then again, this is what people have voted for and what they are paying taxes for, and so far, no-one appears to be seriously complaining, no matter how outrageous it all gets.
A culture is only as good as it's latest achievement...
It's all just evolution in action -- maybe something better will turn up, or, perhaps the 'good enough but limited and thus stable' model will win out, because 'quite good' wasn't really best after all.
The answer is simple - the Guardian is full of cunts
Graun-CDA is rampant at the moment:
Hissy fits over Wikileaks getting the 'BNP treatment' :

They don't like it up 'em.

Seen some of the economic inactivity stats?
The mere production of more rabbits is not a productive use; the reverse is the case
"Btw, the English are not the only people who are being disbanded, the French, Spaniards, Italians, Swiss, Belgians and everyone else in Europe are all in the same position."
Not yet midnight though. We are in the somewhat unique situation where an indigenous people(s) are being "disbanded" even though they largely comprise their respective national armed forces
"Then again, this is what people have voted for and what they are paying taxes for, and so far, no-one appears to be seriously complaining, no matter how outrageous it all gets"
The complaints are suppressed - note particularly the use of agent provocateur and informers. Representative democracy as we have it it is really no democracy at all
"A culture is only as good as it's latest achievement..."
Don't agree, it is only as good as its history and traditions - these may lie dormant, but we are all entitled to a bit of a hiatus every now and then
"It's all just evolution in action"
Like the Dark Ages

Yes, but let's not pretend that young native British people of a reactionary persuasion should have solidarity with "oldies" in general.
How much courage has your average middle class oldie shown in fighting liberalism, cryptocalvinism, Universalism - however you put it? Given a lifetime of opportunity, that is.
Frankly if Universalism were to bite them in the ass, I wouldn't feel too sorry for the oldies who had the means to educate themselves and make a half-decent effort to fight this beast, but didn't bother.
It still harms young people more - both by virtue of the fact that the quality of government provided by Universalism declines monotonically, and because the people most likely to rebel against Universalism are relatively young, hence Universalism strives to infantilise and delay adulthood in its young subjects.
Anyway, that Guardian piece reminds me of Moldbug's proposal here:
"[A] well-run realm makes its take via the world's fairest, least-intrusive tax: property tax. In fact, while I don't know that this has ever been tried, it is easy to design a perfectly fair and perfectly non-intrusive property tax regime. Require real estate owners to assess their own property, offering it for sale at the assessed price, and set the tax at a percentage of that price. No muss, no fuss, no IRS. Since no one can live or work without real estate, it should be straightforward to tune this self-assessed property tax (SAPT) to extract the Laffer maximum."
So a bona fide reactionary and a Guardian writer reach much the same conclusion. That happens from time to time (see also: Libya).
I actually feel it is reasonably likely I will be put dowwn when I am old.
