I share your concern about the lack of young people laban - it's desperate; but essentially as regards racial survival - after all did not Oppenheimer say that the population of these islands are an Ice Age time capsule?

I don't go along with all the support ratio stuff for a number of reasons

We are in dire crisis now never mind 25 years down the track, there is no shortage of labour as such. Regime stats show this unequivocally - 8 millions plus "economically inactive", about 3.5 millions actually unemployed or underemployed, the "student" scam and so forth.

A big public sector shake out is obviously imminent

It cannot be said that we are short of hands

Given that we have been asset-stripped, looted, de-industrialised and given the essential falsity of the neo-liberal economic dispensation it is clear that, for the forseeable future, we will not be able to sustain the existing level of employment.

So why worry about 2020 on in labour shortage terms?

This will not appeal to some, especially not the religiously inclined, but why not legalise easier death?

People die in agony now

There was an interesting news item to the effect that British people are starting to come last in the queue for drugs - they're being exported apparently because of the weakness of the pound. I suspect this is going to be inevitable given that our lovely friends in the City and their Westminster creatures have left us in the position that foreign exchange earning activity is becoming increasingly sparse.

A lot of people have just had enough

Why not just let them go?

Laban is not quite as open as some, and although I haven't studied his blog, I am a regular reader and he seems to be sympathetic to Catholicism - or at least to a version of one of the Abrahamic religions that takes what it says in a/the/its holy book seriously.

In which case, suicide is a sin. Or something.

Anyway, I generally support the 2nd comment by philip something on biasedBBC in that its probably a load of b*llocks to justify more immigrants who are mostly on benefits anyway.

Regarding the selling of drugs: Mark Wadsworth blogged on this today. I just scanned it because its not an issue I cry about, but Mark is a very clever bloke and probably has something interesting to say about it.

When the full impact of the globalist criminality of the past 30 years hits then never mind pharmaceutical companies exporting abroad - our farmers and food producers might do the same. Then what?

What a weird country this is becoming.

You can be gaoled for beating up a burglar, but that isn't a problem serious enough to merit a change in the law apparently. On the other hand, it's supposed to be vitaly important that the law is changed to make it legal to kill ill relatives, gay lovers, etc.

Another quick scan of Marky Wadsworth's blog on this topic tells me that what has been happening, is that NHS trusts are able to get a discount from drug companies.

They bought lots of drugs like viagra substitutes (stuff that nobody is going to die from not having) and then flogged it on to European hospitals at a profit.

If that profit means there is more money to pay for stuff that the NHS Trusts need to provide better care, what is there not to like?

What is the problem?

And, furthermore...

Drug companies are both enormously profitable and have vast turnovers, but they are also potentially enormously controversial (e.g. thalidamide). So, they have full time Public Relations people - like what that nice Mr Cameron used to do.

So, drug companies realise they are getting stiffed by creative and entrepreneurial NHS Trust and go whingeing to the Guardian, spinning the story as a case of nasty NHS managers putting profits before people yada yada yada.

I've just made that up, but it seems plausible to me.

Laban,

I see that the men charged with murdering Isaiah Sam-Young have been found not guilty. Only found it on teletext. Most of MSM not that interested. So far only five reports, including the BBC and the Birmingham Post.

"What is the problem?"

The BBC item featured a lady with breast cancer who was having some difficulty in obtaining a breast cancer drug, it causes her great anxiety - and is apparently becoming a common problem.

I agree with AgainsTTHEWALL

As the pound continues down the tube it will become inevitable that stuff we want and need is exported, the current account runs at a deficit of 1.6% of GDP - it is predicted that it will be an unsustainable 4/5% in a few years time.

This is a consequence of our deindustrialisation, thanks to the City/Westminster regime. This has resulted in desperate and indeed wicked expedients over recent decades ie - money laundering of which the City is the world's leading centre, invading Iraq to continue the pumping of petro-dollars into the City, and indeed selling off UK assets wholesale.

However I don't think that economic sophistication is required to see what's going on, one merely needs to keep an eye open for all the potholes in the road - this is not the mark of a first world country.

The point I am making here is that I don't see any point in worrying about the demographics of ageing in terms of support ratios when it is clear that the jobs are not going to be there anyway.

The best that can happen is the emergence of patriotic and protectionist forces, and the formation of such a government - even so our case will be desperate

Much of the existing political class should be carted off to Tyburn tree; they can emote there rather than boring us so tediously on the idiot box

I didn't catch the BBC report.

Although according to the redoubtable JuliaM: in the 'Metro' this morning it stated 'well known drugs include weight pill Xenical, eresctile disfunction drug Cialis, contraceptive Cerazette...' None of those conditions strike me as life threatening, or unable to be treated with other drugs or methods...

Still, talking of emoting, the BBC would use breast cancer as an example as its bound to get all the wimmin out there reaching for their hankies.

I don't know much about breast cancer, but I do know that prostate cancer kills as many or more and yet only 4% of the research funding that breast cancer gets. Does anyone care?

The latest I've read is that (amazingly) the pound is up against the Euro. Which is good or bad depending if you are going in holiday and/or work in manufacturing.

IMHO the latest great experiment in globalization is going to come to a nasty end over the next few years and at best we will get some of our jobs back, at worst we'll be at war with China.

Well apparently the Euro is dragged down by the PIIGS anon, whether it is sustainable, I suppose whether the Germans want to sustain it given the liabilities, must be questionable.

" IMHO the latest great experiment in globalization is going to come to a nasty end over the next few years and at best we will get some of our jobs back, at worst we'll be at war with China."

Indeed, I've always been a great fan of mercantilism myself since history A-level, I suppose none of that is taught anymore - doesn't suit the regime's book; though China is very clearly a mercantilist power.

Clearly the best thing would be for the USN and what's left of the RN to blockade China without delay - the RN apparently first successfully imposed a long-term blockade, Hawke off Brest.

Obviously we desperately need a government determined to rigorously pursue our national interest- but the Prime Mentalist's regime would doubtless "embed" Phil Shiner in HMS Ark Royal, the Gulf and Somali pirate fiascos were simply shameful. We are paralysed.

A Phd in the history of the Scottish Labour Party is no training in Grand Strategy - neither are early days in the Manse; I wish he had been the missionary to which role he is so clearly suited.

Certainly it should not be assumed, as drivelling socialists and City sharps are wont to do, that globalisation is a fixture. Of course the world system broke down completely last century. British naval and financial power had underpinned a high degree of globalisation during the 19th century - until it was challenged by German construction of the High Seas Fleet which made War and consequent breakdown inevitable. But in 1914 Britain had amassed the extraordinary and immense sum of £4 billions in reserves. And the financial position of the US now is......?

It could hardly be a more unstable situation.

Let us hope that we can recover some fraction of our ancestors vigour.

We will have to dig deep and batten down the hatches

Off topic but it should bring a smile to your face.

I don't know who this guy's ancestors were I would certainly love to have his vigour when I'm his age:

My latest insight is that most people are small s socialist and small c conservative. That is they are not cut throat libertarians but generally favour relitively free trade. They like the idea of the safety net but dont want North Korea.

These gut feelings are exploited by the mainstream politicians. Small s socialists end up supporting Labour who go way further in social engineering and manipulation of the economy. Small c conservatives end up supporting the tories that favour globalisation and monopolistic business.

Well, yes

Need to find the Disraeli/Enoch strain in the Tories, if there's anything left of it

Likes of Hannan - Telegraph blog - beyond ghastly. Right wing bankster Junto territory; if it all preferable to the commies, only marginally so

Keep your eye on how sterling fares against strong Far Eastern currencies rather than other lame Western ones.

The US$, the Euro and sterling are in a race to the bottom.
