Yazza Comes Home

This blog on the very wonderful (and infuriating) Yasmin 'Yazza' Alibhai Brown, way back in July 2004 :

"The Mail is your natural destiny, Yasmin. Don't fight it"
A couple of months earlier, after an Indie piece that conjured the spirit of the late Mary Whitehouse, I'd written :

Is this the start of the long spiritual odyssey that can surely lead to no other place than the opinion pages of the Daily Mail ? Good luck, Yasmin. You'll need it. But you have the stomach for the fight. Aye, and the liver too.
And at last that destination has been reached. Where others saw an anti-Brit leftie whinger, I saw an anti-Brit social conservative - admittedly with a chip on each shoulder, but with a certain honesty and fairness that she couldn't keep out of her work.

I hadn't realised, but she's been writing for them since July with absolutely classic Mail stuff. I told you they were made for each other.

Yes, of course, divorce shatters lives. So why DO we pretend it's an easy option?

How many more teen pregnancies before the Left admits its sex education has been a disaster?

Her latest is a bit of a classic too.

Why are so many black and Asian women desperate to be white?

And it's attracted an answer from Steve Sailer :

You might think that with all the media interest in this question, journalists might occasionally look up on Google something about anthropologist Peter Frost's book "Fair Women, Dark Men: The Forgotten Roots of Color Prejudice", which answers the question. But, nah, finding out the answer is hardly the point of asking, so Frost's book is almost unknown.

Not just an answer, but a teensy digette, too. Yazza's piece is "from the always reliable Daily Mail of London, the umpteenth confirmation of Sailer's Rule of Female Journalism".

And what's Sailer's Rule of Female Journalism ?

The most heartfelt articles by female journalists tend to be demands that social values be overturned in order that, Come the Revolution, the journalist herself will be considered hotter-looking.

Mmmiiiaaaoooowwww !!!!

I realised she was with the Mail earlier this week and thought of your prediction (although I hadn't realised it dated from 2004).

But how long will this anti-white conservative last? Mail readers are not a tolerant bunch.

She is going get a lot of stick.

BTW how long before The Guardian and The BBC become defunct?

Haha

I was reading through your post, thinking, "yeah, yeah, uhuh, yeah". I got to the first mention of Steve Sailer, and then skipped back to read Yazza's article in the mail.

I then thought, "yeah Laban, but what occurs to me, reading this, is Sailer's rule of female journalism".

Then I switched back to the rest of your post, and there it is.

Spooky.

FWIW, I used to be a (tribal) leftie. I found Steve Sailer by googling around looking for answers to questions that lefties were unable to provide, or when they did provide answers, those answers were clearly bullshit.

I think he is the king of bloggers.

Still, your pretty damn good too, and you were spot on about her ending up in the Mail and I thought at the time your points about this were fair and valid.

For me Yazza's infuriating features clearly outweigh her 'wonderful' attributes, as you call them. She can emote as well as the rest of her colleagues on the distaff side of her profession, and her residual Islam (and thus social conservatism)also shows through in several of her Mail articles. However I don't see her becoming the journalistic equivalent of Baroness Waarsi just yet. The commissioning editors at the Mail will continue to have a job on their hands in restraining her atavistic outbursts on some topics (eg Palestine) while encouraging them in other areas (eg sex education).

Anon 11:13 still has a lot to learn if he/she thinks the Mail has a pro-white agenda.

They are classic exhibitors of Littlejohn Syndrome. Lead the readers down the path of certain racial realities, but only so far. Then just when the dots are about to be joined up, bang, a full on dose of racial egalitarianism is administered.

"BTW how long before the Guardian and The BBC become defunct ?"

Both are defunct already, in the sense that neither of them earn a living in the real world. Both are entirely parasitic on the taxpayer -- public sector advertising in the Guardian's case (including BBC jobs), and a compulsory fee just for owning a television set, in the case of the BBC.

The next Conservative government should switch off the life-support system.

I think it will be the Mail's readers who will force the anti-white Yazzmonster off the paper.

She will write a nasty ant-white/British column and get a heap of richly deserved abuse.

"The next Conservative government should switch off the life-support system."

It will be interesting to see if they do. A bit of a test case to be honest. Neither deserve a continued existence allowing them to continue to broadcast radical left propaganda with so little support from the electorate. Switching off their life support would be a fair comment on a defunct sector of the media, but will the Tories do it? They have a lot to hate the Guardian and the BBC for but I have a feeling they won't do it and I think that exposes some in the Tory high-command as having sympathies with the radical left.

We shall see.

Yazza's article in the mail is a load of tripe. As an Asian she will be fully aware that fair skin was prized amongst Asian women long before the white man/woman turned up. Think of the Chinese and Japanese habit of painting their faces.

She knows that full well, so this is just propaganda of some kind. Why, I can't fathom.

I also remember she wrote an article once where she suggested that if we didn't allow Sharia law then they would set the fundamentalists on us. She seems to be a moderate Muslim only when she believes Islam is on the path of getting exactly what it wants from us and then turns nasty as soon as obstacle are put in its path.
