A Muslim army psychiatrist opposed to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan opened fire on fellow soldiers at the world's largest military base yesterday killing 12 people dead and wounding at least 31.
To be fair, it could be that the word 'psychiatrist' is also pretty key here, but it would ruin the alliteration. Trick-cyclists, like mental nurses, seem to have an affinity for their speciality.

I wonder if he got the idea from that Afghan policeman who killed all those British soldiers a few days ago.

I used to know (socially - I stress) a psychiatric nurse years ago and she told me that most of them go into psychi-nursing to try and figure themselves out.
I know another one I am related to by marriage and I can't decide whether she is evil or just a moron. I hadn't considered that is quite possibly insane.
I hope its not reflection on me, but I did sort of fancy the idea of becoming a psychi-nurse myself at one time, because I imagined you would be like some sort of cut down version of Robbie Coltrane's Cracker - preventing crime by getting inside the heads of psychos.
I've since learnt that they spend most of their time wiping the arses of old ladies suffering from senile dementia, and for some reason I've gone off the idea.
At the moment the BBC news reports are tying themselves in verbal knots wondering what on earth could have been the motive for the attack.
