Just to set the record straight, Lynette Burrows made that remark on a radio talk show. The next day a WPC came to her door and said someone had complained about her homophobic remark, and read her the riot act, so to speak.
She wasn't exactly hauled down the nick, but the incident sickened her.
I know this because she's my elder sister.
She's a noble woman, Bernard.
