Traditional East-End Villains (more torture in the community)

This lot - Adnan Kyani, Mohammed Nawaz, Douglas Poku, Benjamin Boakye, Andrew Boateng and Yaw Darko-Kwakye - got 34 years for kidnap and torture. Between six of them. Let me see, that's 34 halved is seventeen, divided by six - about 2 years 9 months each after you knock off the 18 days.

Yaw Darko-Kwakye ?

If you shouted his name at him in the street you'd be jailed for racist abuse.

What on earth has second and third world immigration brought to this country, other than Labour votes?

They really threw the book for such a minor crime, didn't they?

I'm guessing the judge must have been a racist. What do you think?

A little harsh, Laban, I feel.

I assume your concern is more with the throwaway about the naming of cats rather than with the core comment about intercommunal co-operation.

I thought the former was very much in the spirit of your OP. Or was it the particular word used, which was, to be fair, tastefully obfuscated in line with standard MSM style guidelines? I would surprised if that, of itself, was significantly more likely to get you blocked by webnannies than subjective liberal shock-horror reaction to the general tone of your site.

But then I'm a bit out of touch with webfilters, not having suffered one for the past 15 months. Your judgment call, I guess, but guidance would be welcome.
