Over the past 11 years all the legislation necessary for an authoritan state has beem enacted, either through parliament or by diktat from Brussels. For the Tories chickens comming home to roost
Er, how can the chickens be coming home to roost for the Conservatives if it wasn't them who enacted these laws?
Rob, you miss the point.
The Tories did little or nothing to oppose these laws, and have not said they will repeal them if they ever take office again.
So it's entirely reasonable to talk about their chickens coming home to roost.
Well, between them the Tories and Labour have managed to ruin this country. The Tories by destroying public transport and manufacturing industry (we are certainly now paying for the loss of the latter).
Labour with its controlling agenda, seeking to control every aspect of our lives, and destroying our civil liberties.
Thanks anonymous, that was the point the Tories have been a non effective opposition. No politician appears to recognise the erosion of our civil liberties, but bang on about human rights. If you have a free society with a non political judicial system human rights are not required.
Apologies for spelling errors in first posting, it was early.
We should all be very afraid.
Nu Labour don't like the truth, nor opposition to their propaganda. We have to ask if this is the first step towards cancelling any future elections?
Nu Labour's dictatorship has cost us dearly, we've lost our civil liberties and now they've robbed us of British democracy.
