Laban Is At The Seaside ...

Hoping for better weather and a few waves in the land of laver bread. Golf clubs packed for the kids (I keep telling them it's an old man's game), surfboard for foolish overweight fiftysomething papa (they keep telling me it's a young man's game and I think they're right), a hefty historical tome to get through of an evening - what more could one want ? And I'm bringing down a PC for my 81-year old aunt, who's just getting broadband !

Blogging will therefore be even lighter than recently.

Interesting map that can't spell "peninsula".

@anon: what would you use as the plural?

It's like insular, only less so.

(you have to remember English is their second language ;-[)

Obviously, the Welsh for 'peninsula' is 'cafaryllynicyllch llabryddwchyfiad', or, 'land that wanders from the land'. Quite poetic.

But longwinded.

And that should be "(Be)neath Portalbot", of course.

Mwynheu, Laban!
