Is he referring to the fatherless family here ?
Can you name a major moral, political or intellectual issue on which you've ever changed your mind? > I think that I have completely reversed my thinking on various feminist ethics. I used to distrust patriarchy, and now I am convinced that feminism offers very little to replace it.

Homosexuality. I used to think it would lead to the unravelling of society - Divorce did that instead.
In fact it is an over-promoted irrelevance deliberately accentuated by a radical clique who know it would have no great importance if it were not advertised in the media so readily and constantly.
On the other hand I do not believe in Social Darwinism with homosexuality as an inherited condition but rather as learned-behaviour like so much in life nowadays
I've changed my mind on the welfare state. The post-Second World War political reforms of the Attlee government have neutered the working classes.
