On any objective grounds our national situation is infinitely worse than it was in the Seventies(apart from the availability of excellent beer), in fact it is catastrophic

No doubt much is left unsaid, we are in such a pickle that the only recourse is a coup justified on the splendid traditional grounds of proceeding against the Monarch's evil councillors who infest Westminster
Seventies student occupations were pretty farcical as well, unless my memory is playing tricks, which I doubt.
We actually thought the IMF imposed austerity package was as bad as things could get. A Noah's flood of water has swept under the bridge since then- along with plenty of youthful illusions.
Cuts by 'management'? The perambulations it doth require to maintain the marxian narrative.
One silver lining as the _government_ doles out further cuts like this, due to _state_ mismanagement, is that we'll have lots more silliness like this to keep us amused.
PS is it just me or is the banner image a brilliant summation of the kind of silver spooned trusties and slighty not right sorts, who comprise the left?
Less than farce. I'm struck by the lack of new chants, tatics - "what do we want, when do we want it ..."
