Galloway Arrested
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that George Galloway has been arrested in Canada.
"He will be extradited to the UK under immigration procedures but it is not known when this will take place."
I'll bet a lot of paedophiles' little victims don't have much of a sense of humour either, Laban. And will probably never have that light-hearted attitude to life that we, brought up safely, with love, happily enjoy.
Verity - you took me to task some weeks ago for voicing a strong dislike of predatory homosexuals. but even in my angriest moments I don't call for the death penalty as my first reaction...have a look at some of the poetry of Rochester, the Restoration rake...and Christopher Marlowe is also on record as being a bit of a boy-fancier. There is however some fun to be got from the fact that some people share the same name...there was a historic event years ago at a labour Party meeting when some party hack asked Barbara Castle to come over and meet a local star supporter. "This is Mr. Ian Smith..." he began. "WHO??!!" snarled our Barbara. "Ha ha... not Ian Smith from Rhodesia, but Mr Smith from wherever-it-is..." "I DON'T CARE! I will NEVER, EVER talk to ANYONE with that name!" and off she stormed, muttering grimly
Linking to this story about someone with a coincidentally similar name is an appalling dirty trick.
