BNP activists 'gang-raped Hindu women'

... apparently "the barbarous act was intended to force them to leave the country".

These rapes took place nearly ten years ago, but are only now being investigated.

DHAKA, Bangladesh : A judicial commission has concluded that over 200 Hindu women were raped following the 2001 parliamentary election, forcing many terrorized families to flee the country.

The acts were allegedly committed by cadres of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its ally Jamaat-e-Islami who won the 2001 polls, the report said, citing the involvement of many top leaders and lawmakers of the alliance that is now in the opposition.

Laban, you don't double-up as the headline writer for The Sun ("We love it!") by any chance, do you?

Don't know if I'm alone but the bollocks above form Stevie-gee is insulting. It's like our language is just some souless code you can push through a translator and serve up to us as gobbledegook. When I speak a foreign language I am perpetually aware not to make life hard for the hearer and I feel if anything a bit of an interloper.

The initials BNP don't seem to be very auspicious.

Would that be BNP Paribas? They should stick to their core business.

'BNP'

Could the BNP be 'institutionally racist?
